Takahiro Kurashima

Poemotion 1

Inspired by Seesaw, an earlier book by Lars Müller Publishers, the Japanese designer Takahiro Kurashima has established with his series Poemotion a link to the motif of a “School of Seeing” in a playful and at the same time minimalist way. The abstract graphic patterns in this first volume start to move as soon as the reader overlays them with the special film enclosed: morié-effects create complex shapes, make circles start to spin, and set graphic patterns vibrating.
