Sauerbruch Hutton, the renowned London-founded, Berlin-based agency for architecture, urban planning and design, is the focus of this special group of books, ranging from the first surveys of their work in “Archive” and “Archive 2”, to “The New Experimenta in Heilbronn” which examines the architecture of Germany’s largest science museum, which they designed. Additionally, it includes a touchstone publication in “The Turn of the Century: A Reader about Architecture in Europe 1990–2020”, in which the agency’s founders Matthias Sauerbruch and Louisa Hutton asked a diverse group of authors to reflect on the various conditions that have shaped architecture in Europe from 1990–2020.
